Long Summary

This report considers how well retirement villages facilitate ageing for residents living with dementia. With an ageing population, it is anticipated that the retirement village industry will play an increasingly important role in dementia support. This research aimed to analyse the extent to which people with dementia are supported in retirement villages and identify improvements to ensure that retirement village
residents with dementia are able to age in place.
