Long Summary

This study investigates frequency, circumstances and factors associated with fall risk for older care recipients and their informal caregivers. Key findings indicate that where care recipients had high falls risk, caregivers had significantly higher carer burden and depression. This article provides evidence for improved strategies with the aim of preventing fall risk and supporting carers.
