This article explore the experiences of carers of mentally ill Iraqi refugees. Carers who were involved in this study felt isolated, which was exacerbated by their culture-bound obligations and stigma. This article explores these carers' experiences and provides recommendations for health professionals and policy makers to better tailor support and initiatives.
