Long Summary

This publication explores the adverse career outcomes experienced by carers. The publication found that adverse career outcomes are more likely to be experienced when caregivers have provided more years of care, received less support from their workplace, and have lower levels of self-care ability. The importance of supporting employees who have non-work caregiving responsibilities is emphasised by the authors.
