Summary

This book chapter provides insight into Australia’s ageing population and the subsequent need to attract and retain an age-diverse workforce. The chapter provides an overview of the ageing population and the ageing workforce, addresses ageing and generational differences at work and discusses a range of practices to attract and retain an age-diverse workforce. Relevantly, this chapter also discusses how organisations can better support employees with eldercare responsibilities.
