This qualitative study investigates caregiver experiences with inpatient care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who have behavioural health needs. It identifies key themes related to the influences of child, family, and staff factors on hospitalization experiences. The findings suggest care practices that can enhance the experience for all stakeholders and highlight the need for future educational initiatives to improve inpatient care for children with ASD
