Long Summary

This editorial introduces the first edition of the International Journal of Care and Caring (IJCC). The paper sets out the editors’ vision for the journal which is intended to include global policy, scholarship, and practice on care and caring. The vision for this journal is to create a multidisciplinary, international and methodologically diverse collection of research with contributions designed for a broad audience.
