Long Summary

This study provides insight into the poor mental health of those living in rural areas from the perspectives of older adults through exploring mental health, wellbeing and access to support. In doing so, this study outlines its methodology in conducting semi-structed interviews, as well as identifying the key themes that emerged from the results, regarding the key factors affecting mental health among older adults and the challenges that persist to accessibility of services.
