This paper provides a brief overview of initiatives and programs developed by the local government, service providers and community members of one local community in Victoria, Australia. It details numerous programs that form the ‘Pathways for Carers’ initiative in operation which primarily focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of carers and improving carer recognition.
