This paper brings together, for the first time, longitudinal data on Australian work and mental health, including assessing the impacts of changes in the modern workforce such as increased casualisation, older retirement age, and the rise of the gig economy. The paper also examines the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of the Australian workforce.
