This article was presented at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting Proceedings. The article reveals the responsibilities and tasks that women who are in unpaid caring roles undertake outside of their work responsibilities. It explores the impact of gender egalitarianism on the caregiving-job relationship. Findings reveal that cultural considerations and job scope are important considerations for research on caregiving and work responsibilities.
