Long Summary

This article reviews the person-centred approach to care within the disability sector in NSW. In theory, the person-centred approach to care places individuals with a disability at the centre of decision making with carers as partners in this process. This approach relies on individualised funding and carers’ capacity to navigate these service systems.

    Key Messages for Carers
