Long Summary

This report provides insight into Australian experiences of caring during COVID-19, including what supports are required for carers to be able to engage in their caring role whilst also participating in paid work. The report reveals that most Australians find caring rewarding and fulfilling, however, during the COVID-19 crisis rates of stress and isolation among carers, particularly women carers, younger carers, and people with more intensive caring roles, were high.
