Long Summary

This article explores how carers are included and assisted by educational institutions. Through the use of semi-structured interviews the study is able to identify a range of key issues with current strategies. Findings indicate difficulty in identifying carers, the infancy of inclusion policies, support measures that are similar to those for students with a disability and difficulties accommodating flexibility in rigid institutional settings.
