Long Summary

This article outlines the challenges that young carers face in managing the dual responsibilities of their education and their caregiving. The article reveals that whilst low levels of school engagement are particularly prevalent in young people with family health concerns, increased school engagement has been linked to caregiving in girls, but not boys.
