Long Summary

This article focuses on the lived experiences of young people caring for a parent with younger onset dementia. Through the use of semi-structured interviews, the study identifies several impacts that this caring role may have. The findings highlight four key themes: the emotional toll of caring, keeping the family together, grief and loss, and psychological distress.
